hello to all !
new on this forum, french, and living in Paris...
I have bought a pencil on which is written "Sheaffer 286 Pencil" (the pencil size is 0.5). It looks very much like a TRZ, but I'm not sure...
I'm also very much interested in these old school pens of the seventies, which were translucent. Anyone knows where I can find some ? I would be interested by different colors of the body.

The old school pens of the 60's and 70's are everywhere. Look on ebay, look at flea markets, and antique stores. I find them all the time for a buck or two, and yes they are still smooth writers.
If I recall, there was a clear, a translucent green, a translucent red, a translucent blue, and a translucent smoke grey... certainly solid black.
email me backline, I might have a few I could part with cheaply.;
