Sheaffer seems to have reformulated Skrip ink some time in the last few years; I finally ran out of bottled ink, and had to buy a new supply. Almost immediately, I started having problems with nibs clogging and drying up. Switching back to some older Skrip cartridges that I had lying around cured the problem, so it's clearly related to the ink somehow. Anybody else seeing this? Suggestions on what to do?

You can find vintage sheaffer ink quite easily on the net. I refill cartridges, on occasion, with a syringe and old sheaffer ink. The older ink is quite durable, I have some made during WWII (V-INK) and still use it.
Or, switch to a different brand of ink...... there are lots of them out there, and with a greater variation of colors.
