Posted: May 17, 2010 11:53:18 AM | Sheaffer made a solid 14K ball point pen called a Masterpiece Stratowriter. It was one, if not the earliest, ball point. It takes a large refill and they are no longer available. You can look at the hole in the end where the point comes out and if it is much larger than modern pens, yoiu probably have the stratowriter. Several folks in the vintage pen world have designed "adapters" to allow modern refills to work. You might contact www.pendemonium.com and inquire about an adapter. Good luck. |
