Certainly a photo would help ID the pen, since sheaffer pens have been made for over a century......
You might take time and peruse ebay to see if anyone is listing a pen that looks like the one you have.
otherwise, go to www.richardspens.com and follow the links to reference pages perhaps that will work.
Or www.vintagepens.com and look under sheaffer pens.
