I have a desk top pen holder. green marble base 3"x 2 1/2". it looks like a pewter dog ears straight up tail up mouth open. pen holder is attached with a gold attachment. holder is black 2 1/4 shaft with a gold ring in center. information not all can be read underneath

Is it a little Scotti dog? Probably circa 1930. Does the bottom of the socket (pen holder) come down in a point or is it flat? I haven't determined a model number as it is not in any of the catalogues or advertisements I have for the period.
