I have a Sheaffer 501H pen set that I am planning to list on e- bay. I am wondering where to start with pricing. Also it has F1 point and is seems like you would fill by pulling out the end vacuuming up the ink. What do you call this type of filling? I don't know anything about pens and want to list it correctly.

Without seeing the pen, it must be either a Touchdown filler or a Vac filler. If the blind cap has a thin rod it is the vac filler, if the blind cap has a larger tube it is a touchdown filler. If the pen is a touchdown then if it has a snorkel under the nib, it is actually a snorkel pen. Hope this helps, Randy
