PAPERWORLD 2007 SHOW IS A SUCCESS FOR SHEAFFER®:

The Paperworld 2007 trade show, held in Frankfurt, Germany, January 24 though January 28, 2007, was a resounding success for Sheaffer®: according to Tim Williams, in his newly promoted position of Sales and Marketing Director - Group.

The same sentiment was echoed by Sheaffer's distribution partners, international buyers, and BIC colleagues alike, when they visited the elegant new Sheaffer®: booth at the show.

"This success is just one part of achieving the continuing goal to reinforce Sheaffer as a luxury pen brand of fine quality, and to elevate it to even higher standing within the fine writing instruments sector," said Williams. "We have been able to build on last year's launch of the Sheaffer Valor™ range by showcasing our newest fine writing introduction, Sheaffer®: Stars of Egypt Limited Edition."

The Sheaffer®: Stars of Egypt Limited Edition is a unique collection of fine writing instruments that commemorates the culture and history of Ancient Egypt. This collection is beautifully packaged in two versions - Solid Gold (fountain pen) with a diamond, which has a suggested retail price of $20,000 (limited to 30) and Sterling Silver, which has a suggested retail price of $3,500 for the fountain pen and $3,250 for roller ball. This fine writing collection was so popular at the show that one-third of Sheaffer's allocation to Europe, Middle East, and Africa was sold to the attending distributors within three days.

The Frankfurt show also afforded the Company the opportunity to preview three new marble styled finishes to compliment the Sheaffer Valor™ Range. These new finishes will be introduced in the third quarter of 2007. In addition, a launch of three new diverse sets for the Sheaffer Gift Collection range is planned.

NEW COLORS INTRODUCED FOR THE SHEAFFER^® VALOR^™ COLLECTION

This fine writing instrument is American engineered, German-designed and Italian-made, in accordance with Sheaffer's strict quality standards, and features a robust wide-profile machined acrylic body that boldly displays the inlaid nib and large White Dot^® symbol of quality.

Sheaffer Valor's is available in three new finishes include:

• Glossy Brown featuring 22K gold plate trim
• Deep Blue finish with palladium plate trim
• Polished Burgundy finish with palladium plate trim

These fine writing instruments will be available at retailers everywhere in August 2007. The Sheaffer Valor Colors will appeal to both men and women, and will be available in Fountain Pen, Roller Ball, and Ballpoint Pen.
