SHEAFFER AT PAPERWORLD 2010

The annual Paperworld Fair held in Frankfurt, Germany, is one of the leading international trade fairs for stationery, paper and office supplies.  As in previous years, Sheaffer was present at Paperworld to meet with distributors and to unveil the two new additions to its writing portfolio.

The stand was specially designed to reflect Sheaffer's elegant and modern style and to reinforce the tagline - The Gift that Matters.  It received much admiration from distributors, suppliers, customers and even competitors.  Sheaffer's products were also featured on the official Paperworld 2010 website.

The premium product to be introduced was the Sheaffer® Intensity®. Available in six finishes, it is sleek and streamline with a smooth twist-action ballpoint mechanism to provide a comfortable writing experience.

The second introduction was the colorful Sheaffer® VFM – the Vibrant, Fun and Modern push-button ballpoint range available in six exciting colors.

Both new introductions proved to be winners with our distributors, with immediate orders being secured. Also appreciated, was our new range of promotional gift boxes to increase sales during the important gift giving seasons.

Sheaffer® Legacy® Heritage Special Edition Victorian Series

Sheaffer is delighted to present the second edition of its Sheaffer Legacy® Heritage Victorian Series, a beautifully etched Sterling Silver fountain pen to honor one of the most prolific artisans of the period – William Morris.

The Victorian Era covered the 64-year reign of Queen Victoria from 1837-1901, and many social, political and religious movements flourished during this period. William Morris founded one such movement - the English Arts and Crafts Movement.

In 1861, Morris set up his own company, producing an impressive range of decorative items for home, including furniture, rugs and textiles, ceramics and stained glass. One of Morris's chief contributions was as a designer of repeating patterns for wallpaper and textiles, many of which were based on a close observation of nature and flora.

The exquisite and intricately engraved pattern of this edition of the Sheaffer Legacy® Heritage Victorian Series has been chosen to celebrate Morris's mastership of decorative arts and his contributions to the Victorian aesthetic.
